The Benalla: Mid Century Yellow Gold Opal and Diamond Dangler Earrings. The earrings feature an oval cabochon natural Australian opal in brutalist style top with natural round brilliant cut diamond below. Dangling in an impressive brutalist setting is an additional oval cabochon natural Australian opal wrapped with two additional round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds have an approximate total weight by measurement of 0.30 carats. The opals have an outstanding play of color with a harlequin pattern. The earrings are crafted in 14 karat yellow gold and finished with push-style backings. Though we believe them to be a designer (like Arthur King) we are unable to locate a hallmark. The earrings are an impressive quality and measure 1.75 inches in total length.
Each piece has been hand-selected and meticulously identified and graded by a Graduate Gemologist who has been awarded a degree by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
