The Miànshā
Outstanding Antique Veil Headpiece in Yellow Gold set with old mine cut diamonds. The headpiece is set with 20 carats of old mine cut diamonds throughout and features two feng-huang, also called feng whichis an immortal bird whose rare appearance is said to be an omen foretelling harmony at the ascent to the throne of a new emperor. The fenghuang is often considered to signify both male and female elements, a yin-yang harmony; its name is a combination of the words feng representing the male aspect and huang the female. Between the two birds is a Peony flower which symbolizes riches, prosperity and honor. This amazing piece is said to be able to also be worn as a belt buckle as well!
