On the reverse side, it portrays Apollo steering his golden chariot, under the watchful guidance of the Roman goddess of victory, Nike. The pendant is encased in a frame crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and is a creation by Uno A Erra, featuring the work of Pietro Giampaoli, one of the most revered master medalists and engravers in Italy during the 20th Century.
