This elegant vintage ring, known as The Opaline Drift, features a pear shaped natural Australian opal displaying a vibrant play-of-color with flashes of green, blue, and fiery undertones. The opal is securely prong set at the center and framed by a line of round brilliant cut natural diamonds along the shoulders, adding a refined sparkle that enhances the iridescence of the center stone. The mounting is designed with a gentle bypass form, as the polished gold elements sweep around the opal in a fluid, asymmetrical curve that creates a sense of movement. The shoulders taper smoothly into the design, maintaining a balanced and graceful silhouette. Crafted in 14 karat white gold, the cool tone of the metal complements the opal’s luminous color play and the brilliance of the diamonds. This piece is currently a finger size 6.75 yet can be adjusted to most finger sizes for an additional charge upon request, offering both delicacy and distinctive character.
