This graceful vintage ring, known as The Opal Horizon, features an oval cabochon cut natural Australian opal displaying a vivid play-of-color with flashes of green, blue, and warm iridescent tones. The opal is securely prong set within a sculptural bypass-style mounting, where the gold curves fluidly around the stone in an elegant, asymmetrical form. The open negative space between the shoulders enhances the lightness of the design while drawing attention to the luminous center. The shoulders taper gently into the setting, creating a smooth and balanced silhouette. Crafted in 14 karat yellow gold, the warm tone of the metal complements the opal’s shifting colors and organic glow. This piece is currently a finger size 6 yet can be adjusted to most finger sizes for an additional charge upon request, offering a refined and distinctive statement.
